grrrrr
Today on Japanese cute day we are moving west a bit to the scenic land of Italy, where artist Simone Legno (though not Asian, was clearly inspired by Asian art) and his art brand tokidoki are super busy creating these adorable figures dressed like cacti. I orginally purchased "Cactus Dog" as an intimidation tool to sit on my desk at work and keep undesirable people away from it, but that plan backfired as Cactus Dog is so cute that people actually flock to my desk to look at him. Ah, well. I'll just break out my fist shaped stapler and see how that works.

He is a little cutie! But he's a little spikey. I'm not sure I would pet that little guy.
He's just a little spike ball with ears on him! And he is very cute. He kinda looks a little evil like a villain with his eyes.
He has a look on his face that says "stay away". Perhaps if he was dressed as a spider it would be more effective at keeping those undesirables away.
It looks cute but dangeous
In a way cactus is cute...but do we really NEED cute cactus critters...and from Italy? I don't know if that have cactus in Tuscany.
I am a bit cyncial today, so perhaps that accounts for my less than rapturous response to this guy...
Yes, Chris, yes we do need cute cactus critters. Please see L.O.C. mission statement- if we do not have cute [cactus dogs] we will die!! Also, if Tuscany did not have cacti before, they do now!!! I hope you feel better today.
