The Fjord horse is a favorite because of the black hair in the mane, and the stout body. There are a couple in the children's zoo at Brookfield. And here is a delightful book about horses that I mentioned the other day. Happy Birthday M!

Sophia, is that the book you told me you have? It looks beautiful. Thanks for the pic of the Fjord Horse. Maria chose a brown body for her "pin the tail on the donkey" horse and a black mane and tail. We didn't get time to search for horse photos after all. Thanks for yours!
