me and julio down by the schoolyard

This is my friend Julio (named after the Paul Simon song). He lives in some vegetation by our apartment and comes out a couple of hours a day to sniff around and eat stuff. Is he a woodchuck or a muskrat?

BOOO!

Our boss is scared of squirrels. I feel bad laughing since I am afraid of weird things too, but come on! Squirrels? While he was out of the office yesterday we decided to play a prank on him. We made a HUGE print of this picture (found on google images) and taped it over his computer monitor. I hope he doesn't decide to get revenge someday...

Golden Ratio of Cute

In mathematics and the arts, two quantities are in the golden ratio if the ratio between the sum of those quantities and the larger one is the same as the ratio between the larger one and the smaller. The golden ratio is approximately 1.6180339887.

At least since the Renaissance, many artists and architects have proportioned their works to approximate the golden ratio—especially in the form of the golden rectangle, in which the ratio of the longer side to the shorter is the golden ratio—believing this proportion to be aesthetically pleasing. Mathematicians have studied the golden ratio because of its unique and interesting properties.

WAR: cute vs. super

I received this picture from my sister the other night:

It seems to be your basic struggle between Hulk and Littlest Pet Shop turtle.

I responded with a surprise-attack battle.

Then, WAR ensued.

May the cute be victorious.
